Whole Foods will be celebrating Prime Day with their own deals for Amazon Prime members

Looking for a deal this Prime Day? Then you might be excited by what Whole Foods has to offer for Amazon Prime members for a limited time. Starbucks will let us bring our own mugs again starting in late June. Before the pandemic, Starbucks was a big proponent of people bringing in their own mugs and tumblers in an effort to be environmentally-conscious. However, when the pandemic started, they decided to suspend the program at least for the time being.–166339079/–166339079/–166339079/–166339079/–166339079/–166339079/–166339079/–166339079/–166339079/–166339079/–166339079/

But now it is time to once again break out those tumblers and mugs so that we can stop getting disposable cups all the time. According to CNN, starting on June 22, we can once again bring a mug from home to get our Starbucks fix. However, since we are still technically in the time of COVID-19, there is a bit of a catch to all of this.

In order to use your mug from home, it must be clean. In the past, if a mug appeared dirty, the baristas would rinse it for you. But those days are long gone. If you want your Starbucks to end up in the mug you brought from home, then it better be clean. And that’s not all.

It seems that a clean mug (which should be obvious to everyone) is not the only change we will see.
Starbucks will let us start using our own mugs again on June 22

On top of only using clean reusable mugs, whatever we bring from home for our drink will have to fit inside of a “larger ceramic mug” that the baristas will hold. The point of this is to avoid the barista actually touching your mug.

Apparently the way this will all work is:

a customer will place their own cup into a larger ceramic mug. The barista will hold the ceramic mug’s handle rather than the cup when preparing the drink. Once the beverage is ready, the customer will pick their cup up from within the mug. Personal mugs that don’t fit will be placed on trays.

While we are excited by the news that we will once again be able to think about the environment when it comes to getting our Starbucks fix, we have some questions. Does this mean we can bring in our cold cups again or is this strictly for hot drinks? Will this “larger ceramic mug” also fit the standard Venti tumblers they usually sell?

While we all know that Prime Day is set for Amazon on June 21 and 22, when it comes to the deals at Whole Foods, we can expect to enjoy some deliciousness from June 16 until the 22nd. That’s right, we are getting an entire week of deals for Amazon Prime members.

As an added bonus to the news that Whole Foods is taking part in Prime Day with deals, it should also be noted that this celebration is giving us some exclusive seasonal goodies that will leave your taste buds singing.

Really, we are excited by the return of this program, but we want clarification. But what do you think? Are you happy that Starbucks is letting us bring our own mugs again? Tell us in the comments below.

Klondike Shakes expands their lineup with a new flavor

Is there anything better than a Klondike Bar on a hot day? How about one of their Klondike Shakes? And now we have a new flavor to sip on to satisfy our sweet tooth!

Introducing the new Sit Back & Strawberry Klondike Shake Pouch – the latest addition to the Klondike family. Following the exciting launch of their shake pouches earlier this year, it makes sense that they would decide to give us another classic flavor inspired by classic diner milkshakes.

While we loved the chocolate and vanilla shake pouches released earlier in 2021, now that we have some strawberry in our lives, we are even more obsessed with this Klondike offering. Available at retailers now, this new shake comes with a little more fun than just the arrival of a new flavor.

To really shake things up for the summer, Klondike has teamed up with Heads Up for a “Shake It Up” partnership. According to the press email we received about the launch, “This three-minute game will keep the whole family entertained while their Klondike Shakes soften to the perfect creamy and delicious consistency. Players who complete the round will also receive a digital coupon for $3 off Klondike Shakes.”

Not only are we getting a new flavor, but we are even getting a chance to save money on these shake pouches. It feels like a win-win to us!

I am actually pretty excited by the release of this new shake pouch flavor, as it means that we not only have something new to enjoy this summer, but it could mean that we will get even more flavors in the future (especially if strawberry lives up to its predecessors – chocolate and vanilla). Available in packs of six for $5.99, these shakes are a perfect summer pick-me-up, and we can’t wait to see what comes next. Maybe they will even give us a play on the Neapolitan ice cream and give us a pack that features their new strawberry flavor, as well as the chocolate and vanilla shakes.
